I have a month of queue going on, due to travelling and mind-broadening stuff. The truth is out there, and so is a lot of bullshit, but that just fertilises the truth.

FWIW, Title IX was signed by President Nixon

Right…and in this case, the government’s uplifting of one group disenfranchised another. Male gymnastics is nearly extinct. Male Olympic gold medalists return to their colleges without teams, for no other reason than that there aren’t as many female athletes at those schools as there are males. Real “equitable.”

Sorry, Jon Stewart, ILU, but I’d rather not have my rights and privileges only because I took them away from someone else, and I’d rather the government butt out because, well, ur doing it wrong. See also: Ainsley Hayes.

why the fuck do people even listen to this guy? his show is terrible, his opinions are warped, and hes just all around a fuckin idiot.

Aww, I like Jon Stewart. Of course his opinions are wrong, and he believes what he wants to believe, and slams other people for “not making connections” when he frequently fails to do so himself, but he’s pretty much one of the only Hollywood comedy set who will seriously go after the left as well. Even if it is only 5% of the time.

Plus he’s beautiful. COME AT ME BRO

ETA: AND HE LOVES MARCO RUBIO

joN STEWART

i think that is all that has to be said

aw remember when i thought i hated jon stewart

Wait a second - you guys are agreeing with Jon Stewart. He’s not saying it’s a good thing the government supported these female athletes, he’s merely pointing out that what the government supported improved. That the whole “we built it” patting-themselves-on-the-back fest pointing out that US women did so well at the Olympics actually supports Obama (and Stewart’s) point, that they did so with the help of the government. Sure, they put in a lot of hard work and training, but so do people all over the world - the difference is they had a lot of financial support from their government. So… if the government “invests in its infrastructure and its people and the success of this county” it will pay off. Like it did for female athletes.
